Zion Lutheran follows the model for ELCA congregations with a Council as our leadership board, guiding the mission and ministry of the congregation. Each member serves on one of our ministry teams which include: Finance, Worship & Music, Faith Formation, Evangelism, Caring Ministry, Mutual Ministry, Stewardship, Facilities, & ZLCW. See the "Staff" page for information about our church staff.
Our mission is grounded in the tradition of the early Christian Church which promotes health, healing and care for all God’s people. To that end, we will lead the congregation’s efforts to address the health and wellbeing of people within the congregation, community, and world at-large.
Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

Our mission is to lead this congregation in witnessing to the gospel of Jesus Christ to people who are not active members of a Christian congregation; to support the faith development of members and increase the active membership of this congregation.
The Evangelism Team is currently planning an entire year of House Meeting Listening Sessions for ZLC! In the years ahead, we plan to host events, service projects, and gatherings that are meaningful for our congregation based on our listening. If you fit into any of the below categories, we would like you to participate in the given monthly session. Sessions will take place the 3rd Monday of every month from 5:30-7. Dinner will be served at 5:30 and we'll end promptly at 7. We ask that everyone RSVP to the session you choose to attend so we know how much food to prepare. Thank you!

As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society and the world.
